Every year, art teachers Jeff Hall and Kori Mosley take art students to Washington, DC for a day of guided visits to museums around the city. Last week, the group visited the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, and the Smithsonian American Art Museum and Renwick Gallery. The Foundation was able to offset the cost of this trip for all students and to cover the remaining costs for one student in financial need. It’s experiences like these, provided by exceptional faculty members, that make MLWGS an even better place for students to learn and grow.
Contributions to the 2017-18 annual fund help us give the MLWGS faculty the chance to provide opportunities like this throughout the year.
