Some of the enhancement grants we give out are for little things that add something extra to a project, lesson, or classroom.  For example, art department chair Jeff Hall applied for $225 worth of funding to print invitations and provide vinyl lettering for the solo art shows his Art 5 students put on throughout the year.  These art shows are an impressive undertaking that give students experience exhibiting their work.  Yesterday, Kenan Potter (’18) opened her show with a fascinating and nuanced artist talk.  Kenan’s show drew on the legacy her of her father, the artist Ted Potter, and her installation made clever use of materials he left behind.  We were glad to be a small part of Kenan’s impressive opening, and we’re happy to say that we will be able to provide the same support for all the student solo shows this school year.
