Every spring, orchestra and band teacher Karl von Klein organizes a trip open to any student taking a class within the music department. This year, he is chaperoning students on a trip to New Orleans for the first weekend of this year’s Jazz and Heritage Festival (aka Jazz Fest). The Foundation provided a grant to reduce the cost of the trip for every student and provided additional financial aid to four students.
