The school year is only just now off to a start, but the MLWGS Foundation has been working all summer on enhancement grants and other funding for the 2018-19 school year.  As of this first day of school, we’ve already spent $42,000 on the enhancement grants that form the bulk of our programming.  That includes helping 20 faculty members pay for professional development over the summer, purchasing things like molecular structure models and music software to enrich classroom instruction, and providing over $4000 to cover student fees for Dragons in financial need.  This is all part of our biggest enhancement funding commitment to the school ever. On top of all that, the Foundation has been finalizing details for the Purnima Amin Physics and Robotics Design Center, which will feature upgraded classroom space for our physics and robotics programs, as well as raising funds to implement a high-level speed surface to the newly renovated track.  The Foundation is here to make MLWGS a better place to teach and to learn for every student, and we can’t do it without you!  Support the 2018-19 Annual Fund to help us make this our best year ever.
