Here’s our round-up of alumni news from the week of September 28, 2018:

  • Reunions Weekend for the classes of 1998, 2003, 2008, and 2013 kicked off this weekend at Fall Festival, followed by the annual all-alumni reception at Bottoms Up.  Thanks to all the volunteers who helped this weekend come together!
  • Jenny Han (’98) appeared on The Daily Show to talk about the release of the movie adaptation of her bestselling novel To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.
  • Ben Houghton (’06) is the co-founder and executive director of Broadway’s Babies, which works to bring arts education to underprivileged children around the world. Their Richmond Gala is Friday, November 2, 2018. You can buy tickets here.
  • Lisa Qin (’19) is Lexus of Richmond’s 24th Leadership Award Week 1 nominee, meaning she is now in the running for their $10,000 scholarship.
  • Ashley Hawkins (’03) talked to WTVR about printmaking in Studio Two Three’s mobile studio at RVA MakerFest this weekend.  Ashley is the co-founder and executive director of Studio Two Three.
