The MLWGS Cubing Club held their first-ever Rubik’s Cube Competition on Saturday, April 13th at MLWGS. The event sold out and was a huge success! About 250 people, including 90 competitors from age 6 to 40 along with families, guests, and volunteers came from as far away as West Virginia and North Carolina to test their skills in events with the 2×2, 3×3, 4×4, and pyraminx. The competition was made possible by club sponsor Dawn Grois, the World Cube Association, the security and custodial staff, over 20 student volunteers, and by a funding grant from the MLWGS Foundation.
Gifts to the 2018-19 Annual Fund make everything we do possible.
