MLGWS alumnus Matt Elliott ('04) recently returned to his alma mater to teach yoga to sophomore PE students for the month of April. Tara Eschenroeder started this program some years ago with Athletic Director Paige Hawkins, and it has been a highlight of every spring at MLWGS since.  Tara handed the program over to Matt this year to great success.  Having alumni back in the building in a teaching capacity is a wonderful thing, and we hope we'll see

Community Service Opportunity from Katie Houston (’04)

A MLGWS alumna, Katie Houston (Class of 2004) has reached out to offer a community service opportunity to current students.  She's volunteering heavily with the non-profit ReEstablish Richmond, which works to help refugees acclimate and put down roots in the area. They have a high need right now for volunteer tutors who are willing to help middle and elementary school students with English language skills and simple math skills (e.g. counting to 100).  The kids
