Grant Spotlight: Art 5 Senior Solo Shows
The MLWGS Foundation provided a grant to support Art 5 senior solo shows in 2019-20. Artist (and amateur beekeeper) Mia Rodriguez (‘20) inaugurated the series with her exhibition “Throwaway USA.” These solo shows give students the opportunity to learn what goes into putting together a gallery opening, from installing pieces to printing and mailing invitations to writing an artist statement.
