DESCRIPTION:Each year\, the Foundation invites students to share MLWGS with their Grandparents or other significant persons during this beloved event. On April 25\, 2024\, Grandparents and Special Friends will be invited to visit campus to hear about our wonderful school and enjoy a reception and school tour with their Dragon(s). The Foundation will begin gathering contact information from Dragon families for invitees to this special event in February 2025. SUMMARY:Grandparents' and Special Friends' Day
DESCRIPTION:Friday\, April 29\n2:00-3:45pm\nMLWGS\n\n\nThe Governor’s School Foundation will sponsor Maggie Walker’s  bi-annual Grandparents’ and Special Friends’ Day on the afternoon of April 29. Grandparents or other special adults of all current students will be invited to tour the building\, hear a bit from Dr. Lowerre about our wonderful school\, and share refreshments with their grandchild(ren) at the end of the day. \nWe need your help with our guest list. Please fill out the form here for your child’s proud grandparent(s) or other significant relatives so we can send them an invitation. You may either have us mail the invitation or we can give it to your student(s) to deliver. \nInvitations will be ready the week before Spring Break. The RSVP deadline is April 22. Guests must RSVP for students to be able to attend the reception at the end of the day. \nStay tuned for more details in the coming weeks. Questions?
