SUMMARY:2024 Reunions Weekend
DESCRIPTION:Each year\, the Foundation helps coordinate events for our classes celebrating 5-\, 10-\, 15-\, 20-\, 25- and now 30-year Reunions. A highlight for Alumni celebrating their 10-year Reunions is receiving their 10-Year Letters to Self\, which the Foundation coordinates during their senior years and returns at the 10th Reunion. \nThe 2024 Reunions Weekend took place September 27-29\, 2024. Alumni from all classes gathered at Bottom’s Up Pizza on Friday evening (7-10pm). \nAlumni of the Classes of 1999\, 2004\, 2009\, 2014\, and 2019 celebrated their special reunions at the Reunions Classes Celebrations on Saturday evening from 7-10pm at ZZQ in Scott’s Addition. The evening included a special venue created just for us as well as drinks\, sweets\, and a great time for alumni to reconnect with classmates. \nCheck back for information about Reunions Weekend 2025!

DESCRIPTION:Friday\, April 29\n2:00-3:45pm\nMLWGS\n\n\nThe Governor’s School Foundation will sponsor Maggie Walker’s  bi-annual Grandparents’ and Special Friends’ Day on the afternoon of April 29. Grandparents or other special adults of all current students will be invited to tour the building\, hear a bit from Dr. Lowerre about our wonderful school\, and share refreshments with their grandchild(ren) at the end of the day. \nWe need your help with our guest list. Please fill out the form here for your child’s proud grandparent(s) or other significant relatives so we can send them an invitation. You may either have us mail the invitation or we can give it to your student(s) to deliver. \nInvitations will be ready the week before Spring Break. The RSVP deadline is April 22. Guests must RSVP for students to be able to attend the reception at the end of the day. \nStay tuned for more details in the coming weeks. Questions?
