Providing access to every opportunity MLWGS has to offer is one of the most important goals of the Foundation. To that end, we made $20,000 available for students in financial need in the 2017-18 school year. Over the past few months, we’ve been able to cover big expenses, like student fees, as well as a number of smaller expense like club dues, a homecoming ticket, and the purchase of a yearbook. Those expenses also include the cost of attending the art department’s field trip to DC and SAT reporting fees for a student who qualifies for fee waivers but is applying to more schools than they have waivers.
