Newtowne Tutoring club members provide weekly, one-on-one after school tutoring, snacks, and organized play for elementary and middle school students from nearby schools. Service is one of the founding principles of the school, and the Newtowne tutors are one of the best examples of how students give back in meaningful ways. The Foundation provided a grant to support the club, and the students had this to say: “Your generosity is greatly appreciated by tutors and tutees alike. Because of your donations, we have been able to purchase necessary supplies for the betterment of the club. You provide support for community outreach that improves the education of the students who come. We are incredibly grateful for all you have done.”
