Every year, the Foundation works closely with the MLWGS administrative team to determine the best way to support our students and faculty. That partnership was more important than ever during 2019-2020, which began as usual but was then disrupted by the emergence of COVID-19.

In spring, the pandemic halted some of the usual Foundation-supported activities that make the MLWGS experience unique, including class-related and academic competition travel, while creating new needs that the Foundation was able to step up and fill thanks to our generous donors, including underwriting professional development and continuing education over the summer that helped our teachers be better prepared for the virtual teaching environment and providing student financial aid to ensure that all students had the technology and internet access needed for such learning.

As we all anxiously await the day when students return to the classroom (We all miss them!), the Foundation continues to cultivate resources to ensure that ALL Dragons have what they need to succeed.
